Insurance Certification
While the entire bottom section of the tax bill is always returned with your tax payment, the insurance certification information is only submitted every other year. The state requires insurance certification be completed at the time your vehicle registration is due for renewal every other year. When that is the case, your tax bill will include a vehicle renewal fee and the word  required  will appear in the certification section. In other years, this section will clearly be labeled as  not required.
